The team fromKokoro Kai set of very early on 4th October to meet up with our friends from Wakarishin, to set of to the Channel tunnel and from there to Kaiserslautern Germany. To meet up with the rest of the British Team and take part in the 29th UNJJ competition and congress.

The competition and congress took place over 2 days.  day1 was Team Demo’s , pairs demo’s, Kata, weapons Kata and Random Attacks.  Day 2 was ground fighting, sparring, continous fighting and the congress.  At the end of the competitions it was an overal win for team GB with 59 Gold, 54 Silver and 46 Bronze medals. A fantastic achievement from all involved.  Also a special mention must go to all the officials from team GB that worked solidly throughout the weekend to make it so successful.  We are now looking forward to 2025 where we will meet again in Sicily.
